Sausalito, California – Mid-Cal Construction has completed phase 2 of a 4 year seawall construction project at Waldo Point Harbor located at the northern end of Richardson Bay in Sausalito, California. The project consists of installing 3000 feet of sheet piling. The project will also include constructing a new pier, docks and pile driving. The seawall construction is projected to be complete by 2015.
Waldo Point Harbor is an unique waterfront community made up of floating houseboats. With sea levels rising in the San Francisco Bay, the new sheet piling has provided a higher elevation for parking complete with new landscaping and a gazebo entrance way. Mid-Cal will begin phase 3 in July of 2014.
